A Iowa meat plant Kosher broke childlabor laws by hiring minors and children younger than 16 handle dangerous equipment such as circular saws and meat grinders. About 400 illegal immigrant workers were arrested in May in one of the largest immigration raids in U.S. history and two of the workers are facing federal charges. The company as a whole has demonstrated bad morals and ethics. Children of ages 16 and younger were using meat saws and were in contact with dangerous chemicals. The company was acting out of greed by hiring illegal workers so they can make a greater profit. The company did not act wrong by accident beacause they encouraged job applicants to submit forged identification documents that contained false information about their resident status, age and identity.
